The institute offers a full-time first- and second-cycle programme in the field of textile and interior decoration.

It educates designers adept at working in the broadly understood field of textile creation. The applied master – student formula, where emphasis is placed on individual approach to each young designer, allows them to gain competences necessary to solve various design issues in the field.

This unique approach to teaching is based on systematic development of students’ artistic sensitivity and skills by combining their experience gained in general education studios with specialist professional knowledge. Thanks to this they obtain qualifications which prepare them both to individual creative work and professional team work in the field of textiles and interior decoration.

The institute cooperates with Polish research institutes and textile companies. Students have an opportunity to realize their projects in factories, acquiring practical know-how about the production process. They also actively participate in prestigious competitions and exhibitions presenting their works during international events. Graduates are core members of design teams in all Polish carpet factories, they cooperate with manufacturers of woven and printed textiles in Poland and abroad.
