Studies in the field of industrial design teach design and design of visual communication as well as product and visual systems design.

The institute’s objective is to educate designers who are able to innovatively develop the form of a product while maintaining its functional characteristics. Students acquire specialist knowledge and skills in the field of functional object design in accordance with the latest trends, they get acquainted with materials technology, production technology, construction and modelling, the analysis of the structure of the design form, the object ergonomics, the design methodology and the process of implementation of the new project for production.

Students in the field of industrial design come up with innovative ideas that are often implemented in production. They win many competitions and present their projects at international festivals and industry trade fairs, starting cooperation with production companies already during their studies. The institute’s graduates have specialist knowledge and skills which allow them to work for design studios, both in teams and individually, realizing projects for various branches of industry.
