The institute offers a full-time first- and second-cycle programme in the field of jewellery

The institute educates highly qualified designers who are able to undertake design activities and their individual creative work.

The main core of education consists of design subjects realized in specialized studios, strongly supported by goldsmith workshops and computer design studios. The study programme also includes general art education and theoretical classes which give students basis for design activities. Students are introduced to traditional and modern jewellery technologies and get acquainted with a wide variety of methods of realizing their own projects.

The Institute of Jewellery cooperates with the International Amber Association in Gdańsk, the Yes Gallery in Poznań and many companies producing jewellery. Thanks to this, our students and graduates successfully participate in interesting internships and competitions and present their works during fairs and exhibitions. The Institute of Jewellery is the most extensive unit of its kind in Poland, educating students in the field on a higher education level.
