I will long remember my study abroad at the academy because I had the chance to participate in amazing workshops which helped me grow as a fashion designer. Besides, I met gorgeous people like the professors, workshop managers, our Erasmus supervisors, and other students.

Taking part in Erasmus is important because you´ll get to know new perspectives, environments, and cultures. You have the chance to think outside the box, gain self-assurance by living in another country and cherish the possibilities of the Erasmus programme.

What surprised me the most was the various workshops you gained access to and the helpful professors and workshop managers. In the academy you can work with different techniques, hand crafts and machinery. In the end of every semester, all Erasmus students get the chance to exhibit their works for the public.

What I regret the most is that I did not travel a lot in Poland and close-by countries. I mainly stayed in Lodz and the surrounding area – which was also great, but now as some years passed by, I really regret that I did not travel much when I had the chance to.

My stay in Lodz certainly changed my life. After my stay, I wanted to get to know other countries within the framework of the Erasmus programme. If my stay in Poland hadn't been such great, I wouldn't have had the courage to spend my internships in the Netherlands and Portugal afterwards.
