The institute offers a full-time first- and second-cycle programme in the field of new media.

The new media studies offered by the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź is unique on the map of Polish art academies. They combine art and innovative technologies of an enormous creative potential are an answer to the dynamic evolution of digital media in contemporary culture and their constantly growing influence on all areas of human activity, including visual arts. The aim of these interdisciplinary studies is to educate a new generation of artists who will skilfully and creatively use advanced technologies in the areas of interactive digital media, algorithmic and generative art and virtual and extended reality.

The classes are run by academic teachers specializing in the new media and areas where they intersect other visual arts. The curriculum includes practical classes focusing on traditional artistic skills in particular disciplines and on modern tools in information art. After completing the studies, graduates can realize their own professional and artistic projects by using the acquired knowledge and practical, technological and technical skills in the area of the broadly understood new media art.
