Erasmus+ is a chance to travel and see more of the world, while still fulfilling your education. For most people it’s hard to drop everything and travel, which is why doing this as part of your degree is ideal.
Taking part in Erasmus is important because It’s essential to move abroad for a short period of time at least once in your life. It’s an experience that helps broaden your horizons and makes you a much more understanding and empathetic person. In a world that is becoming more and more divided, moving abroad for a short time can help you understand that anywhere you go, people are, at their core, people, just like you.
For me, Erasmus+ means getting the chance to expand your technical skills and learn new things. For me, this meant getting a chance to work in some incredibly useful specialised classes for printmaking and graphic design, access to which would have been very difficult without being an exchange student.
