Job description Polish Interior Designer
Edit Logistics t/a Edit Office is a market-leading office interiors company in Ireland and the UK. We are expanding and have opened our first Polish office in Lodz. We are looking for an Interior Designer / Architect to provide administrative and design expertise. This is a full- time position and the successful candidate will report directly to the Company Directors.

We have a number of exciting design focused commercial projects where you will need to be highly creative, a problem solver, have excellent communication skills in English, be self motivated, hard working, well organised and thrive working as a member of a team, as well as working independently. About the job
Knowledge of the industry or product isn't required, as you'll be given extensive training that will make you an expert in office interiors. What is essential is that you can build relationships with clients. Edit Office's reputation and quality product range have built an established sales base which you'll nurture and develop.
You must have excellent knowledge of Interior Design with the ability to design from initial concept stage, working drawings and right through to bringing the project to site. Your presentation skills and passion for interiors as well as a keen eye for detail and organisation are a must. You must be flexible to assist Directors in various tasks.
You will have responsibility for the following areas:
- CGI renders
- Product specs
- Preparation of design drawings
- Preparation of client quotes and estimates
- Follow up on quotes and estimates with the aim of generating new orders
- Preparation of full interior architectural working/tender drawing packages.
- Coordinate Fit outs with our Install team
- Ability to use initiative, pre-empt requests and think ahead.
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks and projects simultaneously
You will also be responsible for:
- Developing and maintenance of databases, online systems and office software
- Assisting other members of the team with large orders
Qualifications
- Formal qualification or be in the process of obtaining a formal qualification in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
- Be able to prepare and develop concepts
- Have experience in the preparation of working/tender drawing packages including plans, elevations and all relevant technical details and specifications
Essential skills include:
Fluent English- Exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with 3D / render programs
- Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop , InDesign, SketchUp)
- Required to work on Pcon so experience is preferred but not essential
- Capable of presenting design ideas visually.
- Demonstrate experience of delivering design information
- Be capable of managing a design project from design concept through to completion on site.
- Capable of preparing hand sketched design ideas and visuals for presentation to client
- Demonstrate experience in selecting and preparing bespoke FF&E Schedules.
- Demonstrate experience of delivering neat and clear design information.
- Intermediate sketching and rendering skills
- Intermediate interior architecture detailing skills
- Ability to multi task and to a deadline
Technical Skills – Must be proficient in the following programs:
- Adobe Photoshop
- AutoCAD
- Google Sketch Up
- Powerpoint
- Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
